Your New Role... CNN International is seeking a Writer to join our Atlanta newsroom. In this fast-paced role, you’ll be the heart of live news production, helping shape how stories are told across platforms.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Craft compelling news stories, including voiceovers, package tosses, segments, opens and teases.

Produce clear, high-volume, high-quality copy under tight deadlines.

Collaborate seamlessly with producers, editors, and newsroom teams to deliver accurate, engaging journalism.

Apply strong news judgment and writing skills in both the control room and newsroom environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in proven industry experience.

Minimum two years of Writing experience, or successful completion of CNN's Writer training program.

Strong understanding of international news and proven experience handling global stories with accuracy and clarity.

Demonstrated knowledge of- and active engagement with social media as a tool for news gathering and story telling.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
