Job Description The NextGen Helpdesk Specialist serves as the first point of contact for technical support related to NextGen and other clinical technology tools. This role resolves user access, workflow, hardware, and application issues; supports onboarding and system changes; and helps maintain reliable, secure, and user-centered technology services that enable high-quality, culturally responsive care across Valle del Sol.
Job Qualifications Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Education (Preferred)
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, health information technology, computer systems, or a related field.
Experience
Two years of helpdesk, desktop support, application support, or related IT experience.
Experience (Preferred)
Experience supporting healthcare technology, EHR platforms, or clinical operations.
Experience with NextGen or comparable electronic health record systems.
Licensure / Certification (Preferred)
CompTIA A+, HDI Support Center Analyst, or similar technical support certification.
Other Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass pre- and continued employment screenings successfully.
