A reputable real estate law firm in Charleston is seeking an experienced
Real Estate Closing Paralegal
to join their team. The firm is also hiring a
Pre‑Closing Paralegal , and candidates with experience in either areas are encouraged to apply. This role is fully onsite in the firm’s West Ashley office.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review all legal documents required to conduct residential real estate closings
Draft and finalize closing statements and settlement documents
Review and verify all transaction‑related legal documents for accuracy and compliance
Notarize documents and ensure all forms meet legal standards
Calculate adjustments and prorations, and communicate these details to all parties involved in the transaction
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of real estate paralegal experience
Paralegal certification preferred but not required
Proficiency with SoftPro or comparable legal/closing software
Benefits & Compensation
$22 - $32 per hour, based on experience
Optional paid overtime
Paid vacation and holidays
