Core Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive benefits and compensation programs that effectively attract, retain, and motivate employees across the US, Canada, and Brazil.
Execute robust benefits administration tasks while identifying opportunities to streamline and bring forward innovative solutions to existing processes.
Manage and administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
Partner with our external vendors and partners, such as Aetna, WTW, Fidelity, and Delta Dental, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
Act as subject matter expert and voice for our LEGO Brand Retail organization on topics of benefits, compensation, and wellness.
Collaborate with our Business Service Operations (BSO) organization to provide consistent and high-quality experiences for employees when interacting with our benefits and policies, fostering a supportive and informed workplace culture.
Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
Support the annual Benefits Open Enrollment process in Workday and ongoing communication efforts to enhance employee engagement and understanding of available benefits. Implement innovative communication strategies to maximize reach and effectiveness.
Conduct thorough market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive compensation and benefits offerings.
Collaborate closely with the Global Rewards team to develop inclusive benefits that reinforce our reputation as an employer of choice. Seek innovative ways to improve our benefits and wellness offerings while ensuring financial stability and strategic alignment.
Support compliance activities including relevant federal, state, and local regulations concerning compensation and benefits, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other applicable laws, safeguarding the organization against potential liabilities. Innovate compliance processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with our Americas People Operations Team including Leaves & Accommodations, Compliance, and Employee Relations teams to foster a positive employee experience and enhance organizational value.
Play Your Part in Our Team Succeeding We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Manager of Benefits and Pay to spearhead our benefits and compensation strategies. This pivotal role is critical in ensuring our compensation programs are not only competitive and equitable but also aligned with our overarching organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of the benefits of administration, compensation structures, and compliance regulations, complemented by strong analytical and communication skills.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with People, Places and Culture (HR) peers and engage with employees at all levels throughout the organization. You will play a meaningful role by combining strategy and benefits administration. This will improve the overall experience for nearly 5,000 LEGO Group colleagues in the United States, Canada, and Brazil. Your contributions will help foster a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
Do you have what it takes?
Experienced in benefits and compensation, demonstrating expertise in developing and driving end-to-end strategies, particularly within organizations that have a distributed workforce.
Exceptional analytical abilities, specializing in benefits benchmarking and compensation analysis, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Expertise in finding opportunities for process improvement and implementing innovative solutions in benefits administration.
In-depth knowledge of US laws and regulations governing benefits and retirement plans, with additional familiarity with Canadian and/or Brazilian benefits considered an asset.
Strong communication skills, adept at influencing and cultivating relationships across all organizational levels.
Experienced in project management capabilities, skilled in effectively leading multiple priorities and deadlines.
Meticulous attention to detail and a strong drive to achieve goals.
Excellent collaboration skills, with a history of fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Proficiency in Workday, with a background in implementing and optimizing its functionalities.
Compensation The salary for this position ranges from $120,830.00 to $181,246.00, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. Comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
