Position Summary The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for ensuring the delivery of all outpatient clinical services that meet the facility’s performance goals and objectives. This individual will also provide leadership and strategic planning capabilities that will drive business growth. Responsibilities will also include the overall administrative processes of budgetary control and management systems for all services offered. This position contributes to the facility’s educational and quality improvement efforts while providing guidance and direct supervision to employees in the outpatient facility. This role will also comprise of interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems, operations of all facets of the Outpatient Programs.
Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or another mental health related field.
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in clinical services and business healthcare management. Preferred leadership experience in psychiatric or behavioral health field.
Licensure:
Minimum licensure LPC, LMSW, or LMFT in Texas required.
Additional Requirements:
A strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies’ regulations, patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities preferred. CPR and Handle With Care training as outlined in the New Hire policy must be completed before providing direct care services.
