Position Summary Ideal candidate should reside in the Los Angeles, CA area. The Strategic Account Representative will manage and grow a portfolio of high‑value, complex customer accounts, building long‑term consultative relationships and aligning solutions that drive mutual growth.
Responsibilities
Represents and promotes full portfolio of IV Systems, Nutrition products and Clinical Procedure products by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects.
Calls on a variety of decision makers (e.g. Pharmacists, Nurses, Physicians, Supply Chain, Hospital Administrators, etc.) to position products for presentation, evaluation and purchase.
Prospects and qualifies territory for new leads through sales calls in person and remotely, via virtual channels.
Develops and actively maintains a pipeline of sustainable new sales opportunities sufficient to achieve or exceed sales target/quota.
Works in collaboration with regional team members to grow sales and expand market share.
Works through third parties for product promotion and delivery when required.
Maintains relationships with internal B. Braun departments, i.e., Marketing, Technical Services, Customer Service, Region office, ASC support.
Prepares and delivers effective presentations providing solutions to potential customers.
Prepares financial analysis, proposals and competitive analysis for customers and presents the information to committee members within a hospital.
Supports product evaluations and conversions as necessary.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree .
Preferred:
2+ years of medical device sales experience .
Occasional overnight travel, valid driver’s license and passport.
Salary: $85,000–$95,000 (Plus Incentive Compensation and Company Vehicle)
It is an essential function of this position for an employee to be present and in‑person at the physical site(s) of our customers and potential customers. Many of our customers and potential customers are in clinical settings, including hospitals, clinics, and health‑care clinics.
