Job Description: ECU Department of Campus Recreation & Wellness is currently seeking a Marketing Photographer I & II.
Leadership Competencies:
Adaptability, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Effective Reasoning, Initiative, Integrity, Mentorship, Self-Awareness.
Position Summary:
The Marketing Assistant 3 will assist in the operation of the Marketing Area including but not limited to: production of marketing material, managing supply levels, assisting in tracking project deadlines, and providing mentorship to graphic designers.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct photo sessions as needed for design and layout projects
Attend special events and Intramural Sports Championship nights to take pictures for record keeping
Edit photos utilizing Creative Cloud software including Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, etc.
Electronic filing and organizing of pictures
Uphold ECU image standards while using trademarked logos, words, and colors
Effective communication with each client to ensure expectations are being met for each request
Maintain realistic development of one's own knowledge, performance, and abilities through supervisor and self-reflection
Attend Adventure Leadership trips as necessary to capture special adventurous moments
Conceptualize and create videos to promote a variety of CRW events and services
Edit those videos utilizing Creative Cloud software and abiding by any and all trademark music, etc.
Marketing, Communications, Business related majors preferred.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include working knowledge of current Adobe software (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Campus Recreation & Wellness, experience with digital photography and editing, and a strong artistic and creative mindset.
Available to work approximately 10–15 hours per week.
Strong leadership skills & videography skills are necessary.
Must be in the video production program in the School of Communication.
