Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Floating Leasing Manager to support Multifamily communities across our portfolio by providing onsite leasing coverage, team support, and sales leadership. This role will float between properties as needed to ensure consistent leasing performance, resident experience, and compliance. A minimum of one (1) year of RealPage experience is required. This position is ideal for a motivated leasing professional who is adaptable, travel‑ready, and thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment.
Key Roles / Responsibilities
Provide onsite leasing and leadership support at Texas properties during staffing gaps, PTO coverage, lease‑ups, or special projects
Travel between assigned communities within Texas as needed
Drive occupancy, leasing velocity, and renewal performance.
Conduct prospect tours, leasing follow‑ups, applications, and lease executions.
Train and support onsite leasing teams on sales techniques and RealPage usage.
Ensure accurate availability, pricing, and lease documentation in RealPage.
Maintain compliance with Texas Fair Housing laws and company leasing standards.
Support marketing initiatives, lead follow‑up, and outreach efforts.
Deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all properties.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications
2-4 years of multifamily leasing experience
Minimum 1 year of hands‑on RealPage experience (required)
Prior lead leasing or supervisory experience preferred
Experience supporting multiple properties or floating roles strongly preferred
Strong sales, closing, and customer service skills
Ability to travel between properties across Texas
Reliable transportation required
Flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
Working Conditions
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
Moves throughout the building to access files.
Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement as needed.
Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
