
Senior Social Content Strategist

Our agency client is looking for a Senior Social Content Strategist across multiple agency clients. You'll partner with creative, account, and CSO to build 3-6 month social plans, create briefs, and write social copy. This is a hands-on strategist who also creates and concepts social-first content.
Must be located in New York-area (mostly remote, but must be able to attend in-person onboarding Apr 15-17)
Experience across culture/music/entertainment and at least one regulated vertical (finance, health, CPG)
Target start ~Apr 10.
Key responsibilities:
Lead social strategy (paid + organic) across client portfolios and produce content calendars and briefs Concept campaign ideas and translate strategy into social assets with creatives Write/post social copy and guidance for platform-native assets (TikTok, Instagram, X, etc.) Attend shoots/production as needed and advise on content direction Collaborate with account and compliance leads for regulated clients (support provided) Present strategic recommendations to clients; client-facing role Must-have qualifications:
5+ years' social strategy experience, ideally with both paid and organic work Proven content-creation background (has produced or created social-first work) Comfortable writing social copy and producing briefs Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating platform-native campaigns and measurable results Flexible, able to attend shoots and client meetings in NYC Experience across culture/music/entertainment and at least one regulated vertical (finance, health, CPG)
