Lead Analyst, Marketing, Loyalty and Customer Analytics

Albertsons Companies, Plano, TX, United States

Why choose us?

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Join us for an exciting opportunity at Albertsons Companies, where innovation and customer service go hand-in-hand! At Albertsons Companies, we are looking for someone who’s not just seeking a job, but someone who wants to make an impact. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead, innovate, and contribute to the growth of a company that values great service and lasting customer relationships. This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that’s constantly evolving.

The Marketing, Loyalty and Customer Analytics has an opening for a Lead Analyst, supporting the Customer Analytics group.

Albertsons seeks to offer our 34 million+ weekly customers an easy, exciting, and friendly omni‑channel shopping experience, through personalized and localized digital experiences. Post‑COVID, grocery eCommerce has seen an explosion in demand and Albertsons is at the forefront of that change. Unlike traditional grocery analytics, the online channel opens the door to multiple unique and incremental ways to analyze customer behavior, journey and preferences and align our offerings, both current and future, to best suit our customers. Our department is leading the way!

The Lead Analyst of Omni‑Channel Customer Analytics will be responsible for supporting the Customer Analytics team to meet the rapid growth of our eCommerce and omni‑channel business and to develop analytically informed recommendations for incremental growth. Your role will involve a mix of strategic thought, data analytics, and the ability to generate insights to answer a business question or size an opportunity in collaboration with other team members across multiple business pillars. You will have a background in delivering outstanding analytics and insights and the ability to structure, collect and analyze different data sources across the organization.

This role will act as a lead individual contributor, helping connect eCommerce and omni‑channel data to customer analytics insights, and partnering closely with cross‑functional and offshore teams to drive measurable growth.

To be successful in this role, you need to exhibit strong business acumen, have a strategic thought process, be hands‑on with data tools, and work cross‑functionally with merchandising, owned brands, loyalty, marketing, and products teams. Additionally, a strategic consulting background that offers breadth of experience, ability to support multiple initiatives simultaneously, and present findings to senior leadership is preferred.

The grocery industry is underdeveloped in eCommerce, and this position will help shape the future of grocery eCommerce and establish Albertsons as an industry leader. The position will be based in Plano, Texas, or one of our Division offices.
