A fast-growing cybersecurity startup is hiring a Sales Engineer to join its New York office.

The company is developing an AI-powered code-to-cloud security platform that includes capabilities such as Attack Surface Management, automated penetration testing, and DAST.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Engineering teams to support pre-sales activities and drive deal success

Deliver product demonstrations and guide customers through technical implementations to ensure a seamless experience

Gather customer insights, provide best practice recommendations, and support optimal product adoption

Identify areas for product enhancement and relay feedback to Product and Engineering teams

Occasionally participate in on-site meetings, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements at client locations or industry events

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in a deep tech or technical environment; consulting experience is a plus

Cybersecurity Background:

At least 2 years working within cybersecurity

Domain Knowledge:

Familiarity with DAST, Attack Surface Management, and penetration testing environments

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of SaaS/software products; proficiency in Python is required, with backend engineering experience considered a plus

Client-Focused:

Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in helping customers succeed

Problem-Solving:

Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges

Collaboration:

Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams
