Job Description We are searching for the best talent for a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to be in the Jeffersonville, IN territory which includes Greensburg, Seymour, and Columbus. The Neuroscience Sales Specialist has overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner.
They are responsible for understanding and identifying customer needs, aligning marketing resources, and supporting pull‑through activities. They embody and communicate Intra‑Cellular’s corporate vision of improving the lives of patients suffering from neuropsychiatric disorders.
They will develop superior product and disease state knowledge that allows them to compliantly engage in in‑depth clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals. They will also be responsible for creating local strategic and tactical plans, differential resource allocation, and accountability for effective application of budget and expense management within their assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities
Follow compliance guidelines, drive sales performance to ensure forecasts are met or exceeded within assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and mental health community centers both in‑person and virtually.
Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives and customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, routinely sharing such data with relevant internal stakeholders.
Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and identify and select programs/resources for each customer, practice, and/or system.
Work with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives; capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities through strategy implementation.
Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and share best practices.
Provide timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample, and expense reporting.
Inform and build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer needs, resources, and products.
Complete all company‑related training within the required timelines.

Job Requirements
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, business‑to‑business sales, or recent transition from Active‑Duty Military.
3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
Experience in launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.
Strong desire and passion for improving patient and caregiver lives; patient‑centricity.
Integrity and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Strong self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial drive, decision‑making judgment, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Proven ability to learn and adapt during evolving environments such as COVID‑19.
Agility and adaptability to changing telemedicine/virtual environment.
Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress, diagnose issues, and identify new opportunities.
Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information effectively.
Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours.
Territories may require overnight travel.
Some domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings will also be required periodically.
Must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
