Your Mission

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager, Brand Marketing – Call of Duty Live Services to join our team in Santa Monica, CA. In this role, you will drive global marketing strategy, creative development and execution for Call of Duty’s live services ecosystem, driving always-on engagement across seasonal content, in-game experiences, and player lifecycle initiatives.

As a key lead on the Call of Duty Live Services team, you will own and drive global brand marketing initiatives such as visual ID, trailers and other marketing assets that deepen player engagement, maximize retention, and accelerate monetization across live seasons. You will partner closely with Product, Studio, Analytics, CRM, Media and Commercial teams to bring to life compelling creative campaigns that connect with our global player base in real time.

This role requires a highly strategic thinker with strong creative instincts and operational rigor—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, live environment and can lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact marketing programs. You will champion player-first thinking, leverage data to inform decisions, and continuously optimize marketing efforts to meet evolving business and player needs.

A passion for gaming, deep understanding of live service models, and a track record of leading integrated campaigns are essential.

This role is based in our Santa Monica, CA office and follows an onsite work schedule of four days per week. Work arrangements may change at the company’s discretion to meet business needs.

Responsibilities / What You Will Do

Lead and drive global brand marketing strategy for Call of Duty Live Services, including seasonal launches, mid-season updates, and in-game content beats

Own end-to-end campaign, asset development and execution across channels including digital, social, CRM, in-game messaging, influencers, partnerships, and platform integrations

Define and evolve the Live Services marketing roadmap, ensuring alignment with product strategy, player lifecycle goals, and commercial objectives

Lead development of creative briefs, asset development (brand ID / key art, trailers, etc.) and campaign frameworks, ensuring clarity, strategic alignment, and high-quality execution

Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product Marketing, Studios, Analytics, CRM, Media, and Commercial teams to deliver cohesive, player-first assets and campaigns

Drive always-on engagement strategies that support player acquisition, retention, reactivation, and monetization across the live ecosystem

Manage and inspire external creative agencies and internal teams, ensuring best-in-class creative that is on-brand, insight-driven, and culturally relevant across visual ID, trailers and other marketing initiatives

Leverage data and player insights to inform strategy, optimize campaign performance, and continuously improve marketing effectiveness

Own performance tracking and reporting, translating analytics into actionable insights and clear business impact for all assigned projects

Drive innovation in live marketing approaches, testing new formats, platforms, and engagement tactics to reach and grow the player base

Manage marketing budgets and resource allocation, ensuring efficient investment and alignment with business priorities

Collaborate with platform, commercial and partnerships teams to maximize visibility and promotional impact

Champion creative and operational excellence, establishing scalable processes and workflows to support the fast-paced cadence of live service marketing

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree

6-8+ years of experience in brand marketing in related fields within gaming, entertainment, or agency account leadership

Proven experience leading integrated global marketing campaigns across digital, social, CRM, influencer, media and platform ecosystems

Experience managing external agencies and leading creative development processes, including brand ID (key art), trailers, etc.

Demonstrated ability to own and drive strategy, not just execute—experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end

Strong understanding of live service business models, player lifecycle marketing, and engagement strategies

Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and performance metrics to inform decisions and optimize campaigns

Exceptional project leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Passion for gaming, with a deep understanding of player communities, behaviors, and industry trends

Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a strong sense of ownership

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $87,480.00 - $161,910.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
