As the world’s leading manufacturer of civil helicopters, we are transitioning our brand story to highlight our role as a multi-mission-focused "workhorse" for civil and commercial aviation.
This is a pivotal first-time manager-level role for a professional with 5 years of experience who is ready to move from execution to strategy. Core Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Program Management
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive annual PR roadmap that aligns with Robinson’s corporate milestones and product cycles.
Define clear, high-level objectives for every initiative, identifying the specific tactics (media outreach, events, digital content) required to achieve them.
Establish measurable targets for every project, such as share of voice, sentiment shifts, or lead generation, ensuring all PR spend is tied to a quantifiable business outcome.
Own the end-to-end management of PR projects, from initial concept and budgeting to final reporting and retrospective analysis.
Strategic Messaging & Branding
Develop and execute a brand narrative that positions Robinson as a mission-focused industry leader.
Maintain total brand consistency across all platforms, campaigns, and stakeholder touchpoints.
Media Relations & Thought Leadership
Cultivate and leverage relationships with key journalists in aviation, manufacturing, and business media.
Secure high-impact coverage through proactive pitching and reactive media management.
Position Robinson executives as industry thought leaders through speaking engagements and interviews.
Content Creation & Management
Produce high-quality press releases, bylined articles, advertorials, newsletters, and executive scripts.
Storytelling: Identify what is "newsworthy" within our hangars and translate complex engineering feats into compelling stories.
Maintain rigorous AP Style standards and provide expert editing for all corporate communications.
Crisis & Practical Communications
Act as the primary point of contact for messaging in high-pressure or crisis situations.
Deliver clear, accurate, and rapid communication to stakeholders while maintaining day-to-day operations.
Performance Measurement
Define and track KPIs for all PR and marketing initiatives.
Report data‑driven insights to leadership to optimize strategies and support business funding milestones.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in corporate communications, PR, or marketing—ideally within aerospace, defense, or heavy manufacturing.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Writing Mastery: Proven ability to craft press releases, pitch letters, and feature articles with a strong command of AP Style.
Agility: Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience navigating the regulatory environments of the aerospace and defense sectors.
