Overview TruexCullins is seeking an Interior Designer to lead hospitality projects such as boutique hotels, restaurants, and destination resorts. Our current hospitality portfolio includes projects in design or under construction in multiple states, from the mountains of Wyoming to the coast of Maine.
Responsibilities
Lead hospitality projects, including concepting and documenting guestrooms and model rooms.
Create FF&E spec packages and specialized interior design deliverables such as custom carpets, casework, and lighting.
Manage in‑house design teams, coordinate work with consultants and vendors, and maintain positive client relations.
Produce design documentation and construction drawings as part of the full interior design process.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in interior design or a related field.
10+ years full‑time professional experience in interior design.
Proficiency in Revit required; 3D rendering skills a plus.
Demonstrated experience in all aspects of the interior design process including programming, space planning, schematics, research, material selection and specification, FF&E detailing, construction documents, consultant coordination, and construction administration.
Experience in project management, including estimating staffing requirements and working within client budgets.
Excellent written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with teams, clients, and consultants.
Creative, critical, and innovative designer and thinker.
NCIDQ certified or on the path to NCIDQ certification.
Competitive compensation with annual salary of $70,000–$85,000 plus benefits: health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, and profit‑sharing.
