ABOUT THIS JOB The
UX Copywriter Intern
will join Namify for a hands‑on internship from
May through August , playing a key role in shaping how users experience our platforms through clear, thoughtful, and intuitive content. This role focuses on translating design into language and turning it into copy that guides, informs, and supports the end user at every step. From writing in‑platform messaging and microcopy to creating automated emails, your work will ensure users understand what to do, where to go, and how to complete tasks with confidence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with UX Designers to bring designs to life through clear, user‑focused copy
Write and refine in‑platform messaging, including buttons, labels, and instructions
Create microcopy such as tooltips, hover text (“info” icons), and error messages
Create user‑facing instructional content, including screen recordings and narrated walkthroughs, to support key user flows
Analyze user journeys and document workflows to improve clarity and usability across the platform
Develop automated email content that aligns with the user journey
Contribute communication expertise in collaborative project planning and execution
Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and clarity across all user touchpoints
Review and edit existing content to improve usability and comprehension
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations and product
Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States
Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Submission of 2-3 writing samples (UX, product, or platform‑based samples preferred)
Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, English, or a related field
UX Design experience required
Ability to analyze processes and translate them into clear, user‑friendly content
Experience documenting workflows, processes, or procedures in a clear, concise, and easy‑to‑follow manner (e.g., SOPs, training materials, or process documentation)
Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity and simplicity
Understanding of UX principles and how content supports user experience
Experience working with or understanding end‑user platforms (apps, portals, dashboards, etc.)
Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with Figma (required)
Proficiency in Google Workspace
Familiarity with Asana (a plus)
THIS POSITION REPORTS TO
IT Project Manager
SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (Full‑time)
WORK SPACE INFO This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.
TRAINING Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.
SAFETY Namify enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe working environment. Each incumbent is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling self‑aid/buddy‑aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks as requested, and serving on safety committees and teams as requested. In addition, the incumbent must accept that they have responsibility for maintaining the safety of themselves and others by adhering to all written and verbal instructions, promptly reporting and/or correcting all hazards or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to site leads and management on all safety issues.
