Content Creator

USTA Pacific Northwest, Portland, OR, United States

USTA Pacific Northwest is seeking a Content Creator to capture authentic, lo-fi video and photo content at our facilities and events during a 6-month organic social media pilot (April – September 2026). This role is about being on the ground — capturing the energy, people, and moments that make USTA PNW’s programs and facilities special. You will shoot twice per month at USTA PNW facilities across the region, delivering raw and rough-edited footage that our Social Media Account Manager will polish and schedule for publication. This is a local, project-based contractor engagement paid on a retainer and per-shoot day rate. Compensation

Retainer ($800) + additional shoots ($250 per additional shoot) Scope of Work

On-site video shoots:

Two (2) scheduled shoots per month, approximately 4 hours each, at USTA PNW facilities and events across the region. Shoots will capture content aligned with the monthly content calendar and shot list. Lo-fi video capture:

Shoot authentic, unpolished short-form video content (vertical format for Instagram Reels and TikTok). Focus on mission stories, human stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and program energy. Content should feel genuine, not produced. Photo capture:

Capture high-quality photos during shoots for use across social channels, website, email, and print materials. Rough editing:

Deliver rough-edited video clips from each shoot — trimmed, sequenced, and ready for final editing by the Social Media Account Manager. Full polish and captioning are not required. Shot list development:

Collaborate with Marketing Specialist and the Social Media Account Manager to develop shot lists ahead of each shoot. Bring creative ideas for content that aligns with the content pillars: mission stories, human stories, moment stories, and achievement stories. Content ideation:

Contribute creative concepts for trending formats, engaging hooks, and authentic storytelling approaches. Stay current on social media trends relevant to short-form video. Monthly Deliverables
