Job Title: Drafter (Open to Entry Level)
Job Description
Actalent is seeking to hire a skilled entry level or early in career REVIT drafters and designers to create 2D drawings from 3D Revit Models. In this role, you will assist with minor model content manipulation and publish accurate 2D and 3D drawings for use in a fabrication shop.
Responsibilities
Produce shop drawings from 3D models using Revit under the direct supervision of the BIM Modeler Lead or the Virtual Construction Lead.
Adhere to company standards for creating shop drawings from 3D model content.
Download drawings and information from online sources, SharePoint, and project websites.
Prepare copies and assemble document sets for transmittal to other parties.
Collaborate effectively with Virtual Construction and Prefab team members.
Maintain a competent understanding of client policies and procedures.
Translate verbal and general written directions into appropriate, working design documents.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using AutoCAD.
Exposure to Revit, BIM, Navisworks.
Understanding of electrical and fabrication processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in drafting and creating shop drawings.
Familiarity with construction documents and drawing processes.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
