About the Opportunity A fast-growing, collaborative law firm is seeking a
Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal
to join their expanding team. This in‑office role is ideal for a motivated, high‑energy paralegal who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is ready to support attorneys on a variety of personal injury matters. The team emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and work‑life balance, offering a flexible work‑from‑home option after the initial ramp‑up period.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct client interviews and schedule formal intakes
Review and summarize medical records and bills
Draft and file court documents, motions, pleadings, and correspondence
Manage calendars, deadlines, and associate attorney schedules
Prepare for trial and medical discovery
Collaborate with attorneys and paralegal colleagues, taking initiative when needed
Support multiple‑party motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, and other personal injury matters
Qualifications
2+ years of litigation paralegal experience, specifically in personal injury
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Adaptable, self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment
Bilingual/Spanish‑speaking preferred but not required
Full‑time, Monday–Friday
Downtown Chicago office; 1 day work‑from‑home per week after first 3 months
