Multifamily Construction Superintendent

Eastland has several long-term projects in Worcester County, and we are looking for an experienced Multifamily Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage building projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in preconstruction planning, logistics, and schedule development.
Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Lead coordination of trades, vendors, and suppliers to drive progress and maintain quality.
Oversee day to day field operations, ensuring labor and schedule efficiency.
Monitor and document project progress, maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily report and change orders.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, engineers, and other professionals to resolve design or construction challenges.
Mentor and develop field teams, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
Excellent planning, scheduling, and project management skills.
Ability to lead diverse teams and prioritize competing tasks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experienced in Buildertrend, or similar construction scheduling software.
Familiarity with structural, civil, framing, infrastructure, and concrete construction.
Willingness to work in all field conditions and lead by example.
Organized, resourceful, and composed under pressure.
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of direct supervisory experience on Multifamily construction projects.
Strong working knowledge of all construction disciplines and project phases.
