Role Description This position is an essential, strategic component of the Fide Freight Sales Team. The Business Development Rep (BDR) finds new and expands current business with companies that have shipping needs. The BDR provides frontline, outbound prospecting, lead generation, and follow up, clearly communicating Fide’s value to companies. A BDR will also provide resolution to customer issues and operational support through building carrier relationships and solving supply chain issues as they arise.
The ideal candidate is a motivated and business‑minded professional who has a passion for sales and growth. This individual thrives in a fast‑paced, relationship‑driven environment and is passionate about helping shippers, carriers, and customers solve complex transportation challenges through creative, service‑focused solutions.
Experience
Interest in sales or logistics
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not needed
Qualifications
Proven skills in Inside Sales and Business Development
Experience in generating leads and driving Lead Generation initiatives
Strong Communication and interpersonal skills for fostering client relationships
Sales expertise, including the ability to meet and exceed targets
Highly organized and self‑motivated with a goal‑oriented mindset
Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software is a plus
Previous experience in the freight or logistics industry is an advantage
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
