This role is responsible for growing revenue within a multi-state territory working with manufacturers, OEMs, automation integrators, and material handling distributors. The role is home-office based in the Northeast Region and requires approximately 60% travel throughout the territory to meet customers, evaluate applications, and develop new opportunities. Approximately 6070% of the role focuses on generating new opportunities through prospecting, networking, and territory development. Position Duties & Responsibilities
include the following, other duties as assigned: Generate new revenue by winning new customers and expanding opportunities within existing accounts Prospect manufacturers, OEM machine builders, automation integrators, and material handling distributors within the territory Build and maintain a strong pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and territory development Develop relationships with engineering, operations, purchasing leaders, and material handling experts within customer organizations Identify production and material handling challenges and recommend consultative conveyor solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency Expand existing accounts by identifying new applications, projects, and departments Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from discovery to order placement Collaborate with engineering and internal sales teams to develop effective technical solutions Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and activity tracking in CRM Travel throughout the territory to support customers and identify new opportunities Success in this role requires consistent outbound activity, strong pipeline development, and a consultative sales approach focused on solving customer production challenges. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree required 15 years of B2B sales experience Demonstrated ability or strong interest in prospecting and developing new business Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to use a consultative selling approach to understand customer challenges and recommend solutions Interest in manufacturing, automation, and material handling systems Competitive, self-motivated, and comfortable with outbound outreach Coachable, organized, and motivated by performance and growth Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% within the territory Candidates with experience or education in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Engineering or technical education Industrial automation systems Material handling solutions or conveyor systems Manufacturing or industrial production environments Technical or consultative B2B sales Why Join QC Conveyors: Sell into a growing automation and advanced manufacturing industry Develop valuable technical and consultative sales skills Work closely with experienced sales and engineering teams Base salary + uncapped commission + performance incentives Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision Be part of the Duravant global platform Opportunities to grow into larger territories, key account roles, or sales leadership Physical Requirements: Stand, walk, or be mobile for up to an eight-hour shift; bend, twist and reach with arms and hands, dexterity with fingers to handle, feel objects, tools, or controls.
