The Business Development Representative is responsible for building relationships within the banking industry by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business in accordance with the company goals and objectives. Responsibilities

Identify leads and opportunities by researching target logo’s and penetrating existing clients. Work with senior management to develop efficient and effective marketing, social media and promotional resources. Understand the current competitor and market environment for company goals and objectives. Screen potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, financials, and internal priorities. Close new business opportunities by coordinating requirements, developing, and negotiating contracts. Update job and skills knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. Expertise in staffing and/or solutions sales. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is preferred in business administration or other business-related fields. Proven track record of success in outside sales/business development. Proven experience in customer relationship management. Strong ability to navigate CRM system and build out reporting as needed. Experience in developing proposals and presentations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as a CRM system. Professional verbal and written communication skills with a strong, high work ethic. Ability to learn and adapt quickly and work independently and with teams. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
