The Associate Director, Pipeline Forecasting & Analytics is part of the Corporate Strategy team. The role reports to the Sr. Director, Pipeline Forecasting & Analytics and is responsible for Global Revenue Forecasting & Analytics for development-stage programs (across oncology & neuroscience). The role partners with cross-functional groups to develop, articulate, and maintain these revenue forecasts. This position requires a qualified professional with experience in a corporate and/or consulting setting, with a track record of supporting business decisions, establishing processes and collaborations, guiding team members through assessments, and preparing/presenting to senior management. The candidate should bring a strategic mindset, strong problem solving, curiosity, humility, and a strong work ethic, with experience in the biopharma industry and working knowledge of the industry value chain. The role will work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a viewpoint on a development-stage molecule or program’s commercial potential and overall value, partnering primarily with Early & Late-Stage Development Teams, Global Commercial Development, Portfolio Management, and Regional Commercial to inform R&D Governance, Portfolio Committee, and Strategic Planning decisions. Essential Functions
Own the Pipeline Forecasts: lead a team of analysts to build and maintain molecule forecasts and assumptions. Develop P&L business cases to support decisions. Develop fit-for-purpose assessments and forecasts in partnership with stakeholders. Author guidance or reference materials for the pipeline forecasting team. Develop strategic analytics: articulate and frame program- or molecule-specific business questions and create analytics to inform governance discussions and decisions. Maintain cross-functional partnerships: work with R&D, Global Commercial, Regional BUs, Market Access, Corporate Strategy, and others to develop decision-relevant financials and analytics. Inform consulting projects: collaborate with stakeholders to outline business questions and inform/shap e market research and consulting projects. Provide deal support: collaborate with and support corporate development teams on an ad-hoc basis. Work effectively across cross-functional teams to understand and inform Jazz’s business decisions. Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, equity research, business development, or management consulting with a biopharma focus Opportunity assessment: direct market, disease area and product evaluations with the ability to tell a data-driven story including scenarios, forecasts, value drivers/risks, and P&L Strategic framing & analytics: ability to deliver insightful analysis and synthesis to reveal options and opportunities Financial modeling: proficient in building Excel-based forecast models, P&Ls, and ad-hoc analyses Partnering & collaboration: track record of cross-functional partnering to solve business questions and align on analyses Comfort with ambiguity: able to work in a fluid environment and adapt approaches as conditions change Project management: able to plan and manage multiple work streams with stakeholders Strong communication skills: excellent communication and presentation abilities with credibility Required/Preferred Education And Licenses
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred Description Of Physical Demands
