Job Summary The ideal Administrative candidates will possess senior-level experience and related skills, such as being organized, detail-oriented, able to learn, multitasking, and taking direction. Successful candidates will process financial statements, process tax returns, and perform other administrative duties as needed. We are looking for someone who has experience when it comes to meeting deadlines, understanding timelines, meeting expectations, and having an excellent customer service experience. As a Senior-level Administrator, you will also support other administrative tasks as assigned across our 4 offices located in Rochester, Ithaca, Syracuse, and Watertown, NY. This position is an in-office opportunity.
Responsibilities
Assist Firm Administrator in task delegation amongst the admin team
Assist in processing tax returns, financial statements, and other correspondence
Assist in troubleshooting tax return rejections
Scan and autoflow tax documents when needed
Assist in scanning and binding documents
Coordinate catering orders
Assist with onboarding of all new firm staff
Distribute and delegate work to admin staff where needed
Assisting with training of new admin staff
Travel to other offices when needed for training
Manage and oversee building maintenance (cleaning, repairs, etc.)
Qualifications
College degree preferred or professional equivalent work experience required
Administrative experience from a CPA firm or 5 years of management experience in a professional role.
2-3+ years in an Administrative/Support or Client management role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent technology skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly
High attention to detail and ability to multitask while working independently and as a team
High level of professionalism in speaking with clients and handling confidential information
Ability to learn and support multiple projects while ensuring accuracy is maintained
Professional demeanor, with a leadership mentality, supporting our clients and working as a team to meet the firms Administrative goals and initiatives.
