Overview The Nashville office of a full‑service AmLaw 100 firm is actively seeking an attorney to join its Real Estate Practice. The firm’s Real Estate Practice is comprised of attorneys located throughout our offices nationwide. The firm represents a broad array of clients, including developers, public agencies, as well as national, regional, and local retailers and restaurant groups.
Responsibilities
Strong research and writing skills and three (3) to fifteen (15) years of experience in real estate transactions and litigation.
Legal research and writing, both in the transactional and litigation contexts.
Knowledge of how to work with public agency rules and regulations, drafting of agreements with agencies on behalf of developers, and the ability to work with staff members of various agencies.
General knowledge of land planning, environmental and engineering issues impacting land development.
Attending public hearings during day and evening sessions.
Familiarity with purchase and sale, entitlements, and government agencies is a plus.
Background in government relations is a plus.
Qualifications
Three (3) to fifteen (15) years of experience in real estate transactions and litigation.
Tennessee Bar membership.
Solid academic credentials and organizational skills.
