*Responsibilities*
* Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs to meet business requirements. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solution architectures that incorporate Service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and system design best practices. * Integrate Salesforce with external systems through RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow across platforms. * Implement system hardening measures, vulnerability assessments, and security protocols aligned with IT infrastructure standards such as cloud security, firewalls, VPNs, and network configurations. * Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git for efficient development cycles. * Assist in system administration tasks including user management, permissions configuration via GPO (Group Policy Objects), DHCP setup, and network troubleshooting. * Contribute to Agile development processes by participating in sprint planning, code reviews, debugging sessions, and documentation of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) activities. * Optimize system performance through load balancing techniques, database tuning (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and system architecture improvements. * Maintain comprehensive knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization platforms such as VMware/ESXi/Azure/AWS, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience developing on the Salesforce platform with a strong understanding of system architecture and solution design principles. * Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, C#, Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, Bash scripting, and SQL variants such as T-SQL or PL/SQL. * Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure components such as operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking concepts (DNS, DHCP), firewalls, VPNs, load balancing solutions, and virtualization technologies. * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deployment and management of scalable applications. * Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools; version control systems like Git; containerization with Docker/Kubernetes; system hardening; vulnerability management; threat intelligence; and system monitoring tools. * Strong understanding of web services (RESTful API/SOAP), microservices architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and API management strategies. * Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to system performance, security vulnerabilities, or network configurations efficiently. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear language for diverse stakeholders.
