Food & Beverage Manufacturing --- About the Role Our firm is supporting a large, global organization in the food and agricultural industry with a major North America-wide technology initiative. The organization is undergoing a laptop refresh as part of a transition to a new hardware vendor, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring the success of that effort. This position blends IT knowledge, inventory forecasting, and cross-functional coordination. While the job title aligns to a data and analytics classification, this is not a traditional data analyst role. Instead, it focuses on operational planning and reporting tied closely to enterprise IT hardware and procurement processes.
Job Description The IT Supply Chain Analyst resource will support a large-scale laptop refresh program by ensuring inventory, ordering, and reporting activities are accurate, timely, and aligned with business goals. Working with limited supervision, this individual will collaborate closely with IT, procurement, and other cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate the end-to-end hardware lifecycle, from ordering through refresh and retirement Ensure device orders continue to flow smoothly between vendors, procurement, and internal teams Actively manage and maintain data within the Hardware Asset Management system (ServiceNow) Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, end users, and external vendors Forecast hardware demand and coordinate inventory refreshes to meet business goals Partner with the procurement team to support purchase order (PO) coordination as needed Analyze data and metrics to tell a clear story using numbers and trends Contribute to dashboards or reporting solutions if experienced (optional, not required) Consider the impact of hardware lifecycle changes on different user groups (e.g., plant workers, administrators, corporate employees) Qualifications Required Qualifications:
4-6 years of relevant experience Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically Hardware Asset Management Experience supporting PC or hardware refresh initiatives within a supply chain or asset lifecycle context Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously Analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to interpret numbers and ask the right questions Ability to clearly tell a story using data, metrics, and trends Working knowledge of basic hardware specifications (CPU, RAM, processors, storage, etc. - configuration expertise not required) Proven ability to take direction and execute tasks independently Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with technical teams, procurement, vendors, and end users Hardware-focused background; software exposure is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
