Job Summary:
Client is seeking a Senior Analyst of Organic Search to bring advanced analytical expertise and strategic vision to Client's SEO Marketing team. In this high-impact role, candidates will measure and optimize Client's visibility across traditional search and next-generation discovery channels-including GenAI search platforms like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. This role reports into the Senior Manager of SEO and sits alongside the SEO team as a trusted advisor and thought partner as we continue to improve visibility and drive business outcomes for Client. Candidate's insights will directly inform day-to-day decisions and long-term strategy-connecting organic performance, brand reputation, and emerging search behaviors to help Client succeed in the evolving search landscape. The ideal candidate is passionate about SEO, has proven experience in data analytics and measurement frameworks, and thrives on cross-functional collaboration with Marketing and Analytics Partners. Day-to-day Responsibilities:
Own SEO analytics measurement across libertymutual.com and other related digital properties. Build, refine, and QA dashboards that connect rankings, visibility, and traffic using PowerBI, Google Search Console, and Adobe Analytics. Identify performance shifts and make recommendations for continuous improvement and growth of the organic search channel. Partner cross-functionally to build and maintain a new SEO valuation model to connect SEO wins to business value. Own and maintain a valuation framework to inform prioritization of improvements within SEO backlog. Support ongoing reporting needs, including Monthly Operating Reports (MORs), and pre-funnel website traffic analysis for the organic channel. Leverage Adobe Analytics to uncover on-site behavior trends, empowering the SEO and content team to partner with UX in making data-backed recommendations to support organic search. Partner closely with Web Analytics team on broader website measurement and analysis where there is an intersection with SEO; Ensure accurate SEO tagging, tracking, and data integrity within Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and other data measurement platforms. Analyze competitors and performance trends and share key insights through clear data visuals to guide marketing decisions. Strategic Responsibilities:
Partner with Paid Media, Media Economics, and Web Analytics teams to integrate SEO into the broader marketing strategy, aligning goals, sharing insights, and ensuring organic search informs cross-channel planning and performance measurement. Collaborate cross-functionally on AI-readiness initiatives, analyzing how Gen AI search and social signals (e.g., Reddit, TikTok, YouTube) impact visibility, sentiment, conversions, and overall brand reputation. Conduct competitive and market analyses to monitor share of voice, identify emerging SERP features, and evaluate changes in consumer search behavior. Explore integration of additional data sources (e.g., Ahrefs, PageSpeed Insights) to enhance competitiveness and technical performance reporting. Conduct deep-dive analyses to further our understanding of SEO performance within traditional and Gen AI search; support SEO team in designing experiments and measuring results. Preferred Skills and Experience:
5 to 7 plus years of experience in SEO analytics, organic growth, or digital marketing analytics, ideally in a complex, enterprise environment. Strong communication and PowerPoint skills; able to translate complex data into clear, strategic narratives. Experience with Adobe Analytics is strongly preferred. Experience with other web analytics and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar platforms. Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets a plus. Knowledge of SEO ranking signals and search algorithms; Passion for uncovering insights through analytics, testing, and AI-driven innovation.
