Subject Matter Expert (B - AH)

Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (B) SPS

Provides functional and analytical support in areas relevant to the project. This role applies general knowledge of functional areas to analyze user needs, define requirements, and support task planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Serve as an entry-level subject matter technical expert in assigned project areas

· Analyze user needs to determine functional and technical requirements

· Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships

· Identify resources necessary to support assigned tasks

· Apply general knowledge of functional areas to support project planning and execution

· Interface with management representatives and functional proponents and provides reports.

· Prepare and deliver oral and written reports, briefings, and communications to management

· Support documentation, analysis, and coordination activities as required

- Other duties as assigned

- Must adhere to the company's policies, procedures and guidelines

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· General knowledge of relevant functional and technical areas

· Ability to analyze user needs and translate them into functional requirements

· Basic understanding of task planning and functional allocation processes

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to interface effectively with management and technical stakeholders

· Analytical and problem-solving skills appropriate to an entry-level expert role

· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with limited supervision

- Must be able to obtain/maintain a minimum of secret security clearance.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) plus 12 years of relevant experience, or

· High School Diploma (HS) plus 15 years of relevant experience, or

· Master’s Degree (MA) plus 10 years of relevant experience, or

· PhD plus 9 years of relevant experience
