Adecco is recruiting for a
Customer Service Representative
for a client in
Syracuse, NY.
This is a temporary position
paying $19-$28/hour
depending on experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service experience in a
manufacturing,
distribution, or technical product environment, especially someone who has worked with order processing,
international customers, or export documentation
in a business-to-business environment. Job Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product information, and general requests Process customer orders and order revisions in the company ERP system Prepare sales quotations and order acknowledgements Review purchase orders, contracts, and order documentation Communicate with internal teams including production, shipping, and service departments Assist with export compliance screenings and international order documentation Maintain accurate records and customer information in company systems Provide professional written and verbal communication with customers Qualifications Previous customer service experience required, preferably in manufacturing or distribution Experience with order entry, order processing, or inside sales support strongly preferred ERP or CRM system experience preferred Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook and Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced office and manufacturing environment Export compliance or international order experience is a plus Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Associate degree or related training preferred Pay Details:
$19.00 to $28.00 per hour
