As a Tax Call Center Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering best-in-class customer service by phone and in written correspondence. You'll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and problem-solving skills to respond to a variety of tax inquiries, utilizing your basic computer skills to access and analyze data. Professional communication and adherence to ethical and confidentiality standards are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities: Provide technical and procedural assistance to taxpayers and representatives. Review accounts and apply payments accurately to taxpayer accounts. Conduct research to resolve complex payment and return issues. Review and close files for cases paid in full, dismissed, or discharged. Create billings/liabilities in accordance with court orders. Assist with evidence collection for investigations, ensuring judicial requirements are met. Complete disclosure requests for confidential taxpayer information. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of experience in a fast-paced call center environment. 2 years of customer service-related experience. 1 year of experience adhering to ethical and confidentiality requirements. Excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving abilities. Preferences:
1 year of knowledge in tax regulations. 1 year of ability to analyze and troubleshoot tax-related inquiries. Associates or Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
