Entry Level Machinist
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring the machine remains operational, removing completed parts, and performing quality checks using micrometers and calipers. Initially, the role focuses on maintaining machine functionality and quality output, with the potential to progress to setting up machines and adjusting offsets. Responsibilities
Ensure machines remain operational and efficient. Remove and inspect completed parts for quality using micrometers and calipers. Perform quality checks and maintain high standards. Progress towards machine setup and offset adjustments. Essential Skills
Experience using micrometers and calipers. Basic math skills. Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints. Basic shop math and understanding of decimals. Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly on a plant floor. Why Work Here?

The machine shop employs 250 individuals, including 130 machinists working across five shifts. The facility handles parts ranging from a few pounds to 10 tons. Current openings are on 2nd and 3rd shifts, with training potentially occurring on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks. The 2nd shift operates Monday to Thursday from 3 PM to 1 AM, and the 3rd shift runs from 11 PM to 7 AM, Sunday to Thursday. Weekend shifts offer additional premiums. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Francis Creek, WI. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
