Position Overview: This leadership role within the Pricing, Promotion, and Trade Term (PP&T) function is responsible for setting the strategic direction and governance of pricing and promotion across all product categories and channels. The Director will lead the development of enterprise-wide pricing architectures and promotional frameworks that drive sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and competitive positioning. This role partners closely with Executive Leadership, Product Marketing, Sales, and Finance to align pricing and trade investment strategies with broader business objectives, leading a team of three. Job Responsibilities: Define and lead the overall pricing and promotion strategy across all product categories, channels, and customer segments Establish pricing governance, frameworks, and approval processes to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance across the organization Oversee the development and execution of pricing architectures, including value-based pricing models and category price positioning strategies Provide executive-level guidance on pricing decisions, balancing competitiveness, brand positioning, and profitability objectives Lead the design and execution of long-term promotional strategies and trade investment frameworks to maximize return on investment Partner with Product Marketing leadership to align pricing and promotional strategies with product lifecycle management and portfolio strategy Collaborate with Sales leadership to shape customer- and channel-specific pricing and promotional approaches that drive growth while protecting margins Leverage market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and consumer insights to inform pricing strategy and identify opportunities for optimization Drive continuous improvement through analytics, tools, and systems that enhance pricing precision and promotional effectiveness Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team, establishing clear objectives, performance metrics, and professional development plans Act as a key stakeholder in executive decision-making, providing insights and recommendations on pricing, promotions, and trade investments Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Pricing, Promotion, Revenue Management, or related commercial functions, preferably within the Home Appliance or Consumer Electronics industry Deep industry expertise in Home Appliances strongly preferred, with a comprehensive understanding of category dynamics, retail channels, and competitive landscape Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence and operate effectively across executive, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams Feature Benefits: Medical insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Midea America Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
