In this Proposal Manager Asc - Entry Level role, you will be responsible for working as a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Acquisition/Proposal Lead focusing primarily on future efforts/contracts and acquisition strategy and NBAE. The main role of the THAAD New Business Team within the context of proposal development is to provide leadership, oversight, and acquisition strategy to the THAAD FMS, ACD, TPSC, Production, and future contracts. This role will lead and support other Proposal Managers across the THAAD contracts to evolve program needs into a fully defined, on-contract project with the U.S. Government. This involves the entire acquisition life cycle from pre-coordination with Government, developing Program Management project management and planning, project team, and line management. This individual will review the status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepares status reports. Assessing project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $52,300 - $92,230. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
