Position Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Warehouse Summary: The SME serves as a key resource for warehouse operations, providing guidance, training, and support in a specific functional area such as inbound, outbound, inventory, or equipment operations. Key Responsibilities
Train and onboard new employees on warehouse procedures and systems Provide day-to-day support and answer operational questions Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures Assist in troubleshooting workflow or system issues Monitor productivity and help improve efficiency Support supervisors with daily operations and reporting Conduct audits and ensure accuracy in inventory or shipments Serve as a point of contact between team members and management Qualifications
Prior warehouse experience (typically 13+ years) Strong knowledge of warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping) Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) Forklift experience (if applicable) Strong communication and leadership skills Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Skills
