We are seeking a forward-thinking builder to transform how capability is developed and scaled across Bentley moving beyond traditional training towards personalized, just-in-time enablement embedded in the flow of work. Reporting to the Director, Talent, the Director Learning Enablement is a business-first, practical enablement leader who will design and deliver a modern and integrated capability ecosystem that enables colleagues to perform, adapt and grow at the speed of the business. The focus is on practical, applied solutions that drive measurable outcomes that are aligned to business needs. Leading a small team, this role delivers deep onboarding across Bentley's global footprint, manager capability tools, AI-driven learning support, and role-based capability pathways for managers and individual contributors. As part of the Talent COE, you'll partner closely with HRBPs, Talent Management, Total Rewards and Colleague Experience to translate enterprise talent priorities into targeted capability and enablement solutions, ensuring colleagues and managers are supported at critical moments that matter. You will focus on delivering high-impact training needs now while evolving the approach based on dynamic enablement, capability academies, and skills-based programs. Responsibilities include serving as a trusted consultant to HR to understand business priorities, challenges, and capability gaps; diagnosing development needs using data, feedback, and business context; translating needs into practical, scalable learning and enablement solutions; enabling and governing embedded trainers and subject matter experts to scale impact; designing focused enablement embedded in everyday tools, systems, workflows, and team rituals; building a connected learning ecosystem that prioritizes real-time, on demand, inflow support over classroom training; ensuring learning is simple, relevant, and accessible at time of need; leveraging AI to deliver personalized, role relevant learning that accelerates skill development and application; applying AI to track learning impact and connect capability building to measurable business outcomes; guiding adoption of a modern, AI enabled learning culture through experimentation and scale; owning a modern onboarding learning experience enabling new colleagues, especially technical and user facing roles, to quickly understand the infrastructure industry, Bentley's products, and value; delivering onboarding through personalized, AI guided learning and hands-on, inflow experiences; equipping managers with practical, inflow tools to support real conversations, coaching, and day-to-day leadership; shaping experience driven leadership and manager development aligned to business needs; partnering with Talent Management to build transparent, skills-based career pathways and development signals; translating enterprise capabilities and skills taxonomy into clear, role and team level growth paths; partnering with Total Rewards to align skill and capability growth with pay-for-performance frameworks. Qualifications include 8+ years in learning, capability building, or enablement roles supporting product and software companies, with a demonstrated track record of practical, in-flow solutions; proven success in modernizing learning ecosystems and building end-to-end onboarding for complex products/industries; experience translating business strategy and capability needs into role-based pathways and manager tools; demonstrated partnership with HRBPs; ability to consult, simplify, and influence; familiarity with skills frameworks and how learning connects to driving performance, career advancement and expansion and skills development; hands-on experience with AI for learning (curation, summarization, Q&A, search) and with common enterprise learning platforms; excellent communication and content design skills, with the ability to operate independently and a strong bias for action in a fast-moving, global environment. Preferred qualifications include experience in technology or engineering-centric companies and/or product organizations; background in capability academies, communities of practice, and SME-driven content models; experience integrating performance enablement and goals with learning journeys in partnership with Talent Management; change management experience and comfort rolling out new ways of working with leaders and teams.
