We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Director of Quality (RN licensure required). The home office is located in Metairie; however, the position will also serve the Baton Rouge and Mississippi Gulf Coast. The candidate may choose to be based in any of the three service areas. In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support. *Salary commensurate with experience* What You Bring to The Table: Responsible for the organization's efforts in implementing a company wide quality assurance/performance improvement system. Tracks trend data outcomes, performance improvement initiatives, infection control program and education/staff development. Responsible for data collection of quarterly performance improvement reports and administrative/secretarial duties relating to the quality department. Supports all quality and performance improvement functions following the five key elements of QAPI: Design and Scope, Governance and Leadership, Feedback, Data Systems and Monitoring, Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs), and Systematic Analysis and Systemic Action. Coordinates committee meetings. Performance Improvement participation in accreditation activities, and state and federal survey preparedness and follow up. Submits reports as needed to the Administrator, CEO, Board of Directors. Assists with clerical/scheduling responsibilities necessary for education/staff development programs. Works with clinical education on areas for staff development and areas for education improvement. Qualifications: Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in Louisiana and Mississippi preferred. Bachelor's degree and C.H.P.N. certification preferred. Minimum of three years hospice or related health care field experience. Prior supervisory experience. Working knowledge and understanding of the hospice philosophy. Must have effective speaking and training skills. Excellent problem-solving ability, planning and project skills. Strong organizational skills. Detailed oriented. Excellent written/verbal and communication skills. Proficient in basic PC skills such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Other Qualifications: Ability to work independently, make accurate, and at times, quick judgments. Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural and religious modes. Ability to conduct in-person educational trainings for all disciplines. Ability to conduct field ride-along with team for one on one education and competencies. Knowledgeable in nursing facilities policies, procedures and processes. Ability to speak in public and conduct trainings appealing to various audiences and educational levels.
