
Junior Salesforce Administrator

As a Junior Salesforce Administrator at DB Legal Support, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our Salesforce platform, primarily Litify, a Salesforce-based legal CRM. This role is heavily focused on the user support element of Salesforce administration and is ideal for a candidate who enjoys solving user issues, improving system usability, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring internal teams receive timely and effective support.

You will be responsible for managing users, handling configuration updates, troubleshooting issues, responding to support requests with professionalism, and helping maintain a stable and efficient Salesforce environment. You will work closely with internal teams and Salesforce leadership to streamline processes, support end users, and improve the overall user experience.
This role is best suited for someone who wants to remain in a support-focused administrator position rather than a developer, architect, or higher-level design role.
*Duties/Responsibilities:*
* Provide day-to-day user support for Salesforce and Litify, including troubleshooting access, usability, records, workflows, and page layout issues. * Manage user setup, deactivation, profiles, roles, permission sets, and related access controls. * Support ongoing system configuration, including fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, dashboards, reports, and declarative automation updates. * Troubleshoot user issues; perform triage, testing, documentation, and escalation when needed. * Create, maintain, and optimize custom reports and dashboards. * Maintain and update internal documentation, administrative procedures, and configuration logs. * Assist with onboarding and training new system users. * Support data cleanup, integrity checks, duplicate management, and standardization efforts. * Gather requirements to support system enhancements and process improvements. * Collaborate with internal teams and Salesforce leadership to improve overall system usability and user experience. * Participate in team meetings, process improvement discussions, testing efforts, and training initiatives. * Ensure confidentiality, data security, and compliance with internal system protocols.
*Additional Expectations:*
This role extends beyond basic ticket support. Junior Salesforce Administrators are expected to:
* Serve as a reliable support resource for internal users in a remote and/or hybrid work environment. * Prioritize responsiveness, professionalism, and a positive user experience in all support interactions. * Assist with workflow improvements and administrative updates within Salesforce and Litify. * Support documentation and training initiatives for broader IT and operations teams. * Collaborate cross-functionally to understand user needs and improve system functionality. * Maintain active learning toward Salesforce platform growth and best practices. * Assist with special projects, system rollouts, testing, and enhancements as assigned.
*Required Skills/Abilities:*
* Minimum of 2 years of hands-on professional Salesforce Administrator experience required. * Salesforce Platform Administrator I certification required. * Salesforce Platform Administrator II certification preferred. * Minimum of 1 year of professional user support, helpdesk, or IT support experience in a remote and/or hybrid environment required. * Strong understanding of Salesforce administration and declarative configuration, including permissions, layouts, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and related support functions. * Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to analyze issues and propose thoughtful, practical solutions. * High attention to detail and strong organizational ability. * Proficiency with CRM systems; Litify experience strongly preferred. * Comfortable supporting users at all levels, with a strong customer-service mindset. * Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain follow-through. * Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or employment restriction. * Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
*Education and Experience:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered. * Hands-on Salesforce administration experience required. * Salesforce Platform Administrator I certification required. * Salesforce Platform Administrator II certification preferred. * Experience with Litify or other Salesforce-based legal or case management platforms strongly preferred. * Experience supporting users in a legal, professional services, or operations-driven environment is a plus.
