Strategic Content Designer
We're looking for a strategic, systems-minded Content Designer to help shape how Lead communicates in-product and across our platform. You'll partner with designers, PMs, and engineers to craft the language that guides people through our toolssimplifying financial workflows, clarifying intent, and building trust.
This role is equal parts UX writing and content strategy. You'll define how we speak inside our products, while also helping connect that voice to our brand across channels. You'll contribute to naming systems, voice and tone guidance, information architecture, and the documentation that helps us scale content with quality. You'll also help explore how AI can augment content system creation, streamline content operations, and support the development of internal AI-assisted content tooling.
This is a fit for someone who treats writing as designbringing structure to ambiguity, simplifying complex workflows, and sweating the precision in every moment of the experience. You've got a proven track record blending compelling marketing sensibility with in-product content, and you have a solid grasp of consumer financial and banking concepts.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate closely with designers, PMs, engineers, and marketers to create clear, intuitive user experiences across internal tools and client-facing surfaces.
- Write inclusive, precise content for product flows, microcopy, in-app messaging, and system feedback that helps users take confident action.
- Shape the product voice by contributing to naming conventions, taxonomy, voice and tone guidance, and UX copy standards.
- Help define and refine information architecture across product surfaces, ensuring content structure, labels, hierarchy, and navigation patterns are intuitive, scalable, and consistent.
- Partner with design and brand to keep tone and messaging consistent across product and marketing content.
- Partner closely with legal and compliance teams to develop content that meets regulatory requirements while maintaining clarity, quality, and a strong user experience.
- Use research, user feedback, and data to inform content decisions and iterate quickly.
- Contribute to design system documentation and help scale content guidance, patterns, and workflows across teams.
- Use AI tools to accelerate content exploration, taxonomy development, first-pass drafting, content audits, and documentation, while applying strong editorial judgment and systems thinking.
- Partner with Design and Product to define requirements for AI-assisted content tools, prompt frameworks, and workflows that improve consistency, speed, and content quality at scale.
- Uphold a high bar for clarity, accuracy, compliance, and craft while supporting velocity in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
