You can verify your HUBZone status using the following website: https://maps.certify.sba.gov/hubzone/map Job Purpose This position will be responsible for initiating and maintaining work packages to document maintenance, testing, configuration changes, production, and repair activities for NASA's space suits, ancillary equipment, and flight crew equipment. SLC Description Of Tasks Entry‑to‑midlevel role working under an Administrative II lead and following established policies and procedures. Primary responsibilities include: • Supporting the development of policies and procedures; • Initiating and maintaining work packages; • Managing work‑control documentation; • Developing and prioritizing work schedules; • Reviewing and assigning documentation; • Documenting anomalies; • Allocating parts, equipment, and materials; • Coordinating with relevant organizations to resolve schedule discrepancies; • Maintaining accountability logs and indices. Key Responsibilities Prepare work‑authorizing documents needed to initiate and create a record of the work performed. Close out work‑authorizing documents following completion of the work. Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage documentation. Communicate effectively with technical professionals, including government property administrators, engineers, and management. Maintain attention to detail and organizational planning skills. Generate TPS templates and compile monthly metrics charts for OneEVA training events. Approve TPS signatures as TPS Initiator for all hardware classes and equipment groups. Support real‑time training events, including TPS modifications, rapid hardware allocation, and anomaly resolution. Prepare training and flight EMU sizing documents for NASA astronauts and test subjects. Schedule training events and coordinate lab resources as per internal and NASA scheduling requests. Create and maintain metrics for CIII scheduling; write TPSs for CIII suits and tools. Allocate hardware for suited events; initiate and prepare sizing packages; manage tools 1G classes; maintain tools and suit hardware; oversee NBL runs, fit checks and ancillary events. Qualifications Good organizational and planning skills; excellent verbal and written communication; self‑motivated and capable of working in a team; ability to handle difficult decisions or requests; knowledge of Microsoft Office; attention to detail. Key Performance Indicators Prepare work in accordance with policies and procedures; maintain detailed records; verify internal consistency, accuracy, and quality; plan flight hardware provisioning; coordinate with design and production processing engineering to implement engineering changes and resolve hardware discrepancies to minimize impacts on flight schedules.
