This position is full-time. Employees are required to be in the office 3 days per week and to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
Our office is located at 169 Inverness Drive W, Englewood, CO.
The Business Development Analyst supports the Key Accounts Sales and Account Management teams by coordinating and executing the new business pre‑sale process for Medical and Specialty products. This role partners closely with Account Executives, underwriting, and internal teams to deliver accurate, timely, and competitive proposals that drive profitable growth. In addition to proposal and RFP management, this position serves as a key administrative resource for the office, supporting meeting coordination, events, and day‑to‑day operational needs. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker that is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with minimal direction.

Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute the Key Accounts new business pre‑sale process for Medical and Specialty products, partnering with Sales, Account Executives, underwriting, brokers, and consultants to support profitable growth
Manage proposal timelines and due dates to ensure accurate, complete, and timely submissions during high‑volume periods
Review, scrub, and analyze RFPs, RFIs, and case materials to assess customer needs, identify gaps, and interpret requirements, working with brokers to obtain missing information
Enter, manage, and maintain detailed proposal data in Solaris (Salesforce), submitting cases to Rating and Underwriting and coordinating case strategy and underwriting considerations
Coordinate with implementation for cases that have sold
Request, coordinate, and review Geo Access, Disruption, Repricing, and other ad hoc analytical reports to support proposal development
Create and modify digital benefit summaries and perform quality reviews of proposal, financial, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
Provide administrative and operational support for the Key Accounts Sales and Account Management teams, including meeting coordination, printing, shipping, materials preparation, and off‑site broker or client events
Support office operations by coordinating technology and meeting resources, performing Business Segment Liaison (BSL) activities, submitting purchase orders (e.g., Ariba), and monitoring office supply, equipment, and facility needs

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service or administrative support experience in a fast‑paced, professional environment
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro, including:
Word (creating and editing documents and templates)
Excel (filtering, sorting, formatting, pivoting tables, vlookups and other basic formulas)
Outlook (email communication, meeting scheduling, and calendar management)
PowerPoint (creating and editing presentations)
Adobe (creating, converting, and editing PDF files)
Willing and able to work out of the Englewood, CO office 3 days per week
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business development, business administration, sales support, healthcare administration, or a related field
Foundational knowledge of the health insurance industry, including fully insured versus self‑funded arrangements, benefit structures, and plan design concepts, or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Colorado Health and Life Insurance License
Early‑career experience in a corporate or professional office environment, preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry
Experience supporting sales and business development activities, including proposal development and new business processes within a healthcare or insurance environment, with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines
Familiarity with Salesforce, Concur, Ariba, or similar CRM, expense, or procurement systems
Ability to support business operations, including meeting and event coordination and Business Segment Liaison (BSL) or onboarding activities
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and self‑motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on full‑time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
