The role…
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and introducing GlobalData’s intelligence platform to senior decision-makers at leading global organizations.
What you’ll be doing...
Own the first impression. Engage senior decision-makers and introduce GlobalData’s intelligence platform to potential clients.
Create new opportunities. Prospect, qualify, and develop new business leads through outbound outreach and strategic research.
Deliver compelling product conversations. Conduct online demonstrations that show how GlobalData’s insights help companies make better decisions.
Build your pipeline . Consistently generate and manage opportunities that lead to new business wins.
Achieve and exceed targets. Your success is rewarded through an uncapped commission structure.
Learn and grow quickly. Work closely with experienced sales leaders who will coach you to develop the skills needed to progress into senior sales roles.
What we’re looking for…
6–12 months experience in sales, customer-facing, or competitive environments
Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with new people
A competitive mindset and strong work ethic
Coachability and openness to feedback
Curiosity and the ability to ask thoughtful questions
Resilience and determination when facing challengesAbility to simplify complex ideas into clear conversations
Early exposure to C-suite pharma and biotech leaders
Learning how major Life Science companies make strategic decisions
