Job Title: Federal Work Study - Theatre Program Marketing Student Assistant Location: UWG Recruiting Location Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 296200 Job Summary Work 10-12 hours per week creating marketing materials for the Theatre Program and its four-show season of plays and musicians. Materials include (but are not limited to) creating video trailers and podcasts, writing press releases, creating posters, flyers, programs, posting on social media, and recruiting. Required Qualifications Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours of coursework in the semester. Must have and maintain a 2.0 GPA. Must have personal qualities of responsibility, integrity, patience, commitment, and be a strong and clear communicator. Willingness to work collaboratively and well with others. Strong writing and oral communication skills. Ability to set and follow deadlines. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions May involve moving/lifting 25 lbs or more. Preferred Qualifications Taken ENGL 1101 & 1102. Ability to take initiative and lead students to promote the program and its productions. Preference will be given to theatre majors. Positive and friendly attitude. Ability to speak articulately about the Theatre Program to prospective students.
