
Field Sales & Marketing Specialist — Air Team (Charlotte)

Overview
This role is open as we are expanding our Air Team and adding this position to staff.
Location requirement: Charlotte, North Carolina or a suburb of Charlotte.
Start: April or May 2026, must be willing to work 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
You will be part of the Air Team--a group of individuals who are focused on generating customer awareness and loyalty while representing the AprilAire brand with integrity and authority.
Your day will include:
Collaborating with sales, channel marketing, brand marketing and product marketing to attend education and training in distribution/customer location, shows, and events. The Air Team will conduct product training (virtually and in-person), execute promotions with branch associates, and continue to build relationships with new and existing partners.
Supporting of national, regional, and local distributor partners with the following activities: product & sales training, branch merchandising, branch sales events, joint sales calls, promotional execution, stocking support, relationship building and new product awareness
Providing direction for in-store visuals, online presentations, and marketing concepts, and provide input on product placement and brand packaging. Represent the brand with integrity and authority.
Developing product programs to support or adapt to in-store and digital operations, partnering with teams to ensure execution and availability for maximum sales and turnover. Work across all channels to inspire the customer, increase sales, and enhance the brand image and vision.
Leading quarterly business reviews with the executive team and clients
Developing visual plans for seasonal resets within key locations, assisting with vendor communication, sourcing new fixtures, hardware, and props
Creating and document in-store merchandising and signage layouts with Marketing oversight in alignment with seasonal and volume driving strategies.
Identifying and communicate needs to the creative team following the omnichannel creative calendar
Leading as a liaison between office staff (customer service, marketing, etc.) to ensure National Accounts have needed tools and resources
Providing support with HVAC contractor - homeowner interactions
Generating and forward leads to sales team members as required for local follow-up
Travel in channel to support National Account activities
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree; in lieu of degree, 2 years of related experience
Instills trust, builds effective customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
Situational adaptability to approach customers and situations differently
Organized and ability to plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
Goal oriented and wants to deliver positive results for the business
Curious, sense of urgency to complete tasks, approaches a challenge with a positive spirit
Ability to learn our CRM and has used basic functions in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Willingness and ability to learn our products
Ability to travel within your region 10% of your time.
