Job Summary
We are looking for a high-energy Business Development & Sales Manager to accelerate our growth in the North America. In this role, you will be the primary driver for new account acquisition and strategic foundry engagement. The ideal candidate combines a strong technical foundation in EE with the commercial acumen to navigate complex sales cycles in the ASIC/Foundry service industry.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Drive new design awards and project wins to achieve revenue targets.
Lead customer program bids, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
Cultivate regional partnerships by representing CoAsia SEMI USA at industry events and trade shows.
Strategic Account Management
Cultivate and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers and C‑suite executives at Tier‑1 and emerging technology companies.
Orchestrate cross‑functional collaboration between customers and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution from discovery to tape‑out.
Deliver accurate short‑ and long‑term sales forecasting and pipeline management via CRM.
Analyze customer roadmaps and competitive landscapes to provide actionable insights for long‑term business strategy.
Maintain a strong market presence through up to 20% travel, primarily for on‑site customer visits, partner meetings, and key industry events.
Monitor foundry capacity shifts and industry news to advise customers on strategic engagement models.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related technical field.
Industry Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry.
Domain Expertise: 2+ years of direct experience in Foundry services, ASIC design services, or technical sales/marketing.
Technical Literacy: Ability to understand complex semiconductor design flows and communicate technical requirements between customers and engineering teams.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Mobility: Ability to travel up to 20% for customer site visits and industry events.
Location: Ability to work on‑site/hybrid in the San Jose, CA office.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Language: Professional fluency in Mandarin (Chinese) or Korean to facilitate seamless communication with global foundry partners and headquarters.
Network: An established professional network and pre-existing relationships with key decision‑makers in the Silicon Valley semiconductor ecosystem.
Tools: Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management and forecasting.
Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of securing high‑value Design Wins and managing complex contract negotiations (MSAs).
Work Arrangement: Primarily On-site in San Jose, CA. We offer a Hybrid arrangement with remote flexibility depending on project phases and situational needs.
Travel: Anticipate up to 20% travel. This includes visiting customer sites, meeting with strategic partners, and attending key industry conferences to maintain a visible market presence.
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $100,000 – $180,000 per year.
Final salary is based on experience, seniority, and technical background.
Variable Pay: This position is eligible for a performance‑based incentive program.
