Are you a creative professional with a disciplined approach to branding and digital content? Our client is a premier designer and manufacturer of custom conveyor systems and product handling devices. Due to consistent growth, we are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team and help elevate our brand presence across the industrial sector.
Position Summary
As a Marketing Assistant , you will be the driving force behind the clerical and creative tasks within the Marketing Department. Working closely with the General Manager and Sales leadership, you will maintain consistent branding, manage digital media, and support the sales and service teams. This role is ideal for an organized individual who can balance creative content creation with disciplined administrative execution.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Management: Work with leadership to maintain a consistent brand identity across all products, services, and corporate communications.
Website Administration: Update website content (WordPress), improve visual layouts, and manage "Careers" and "Featured Projects" sections.
Content Creation: Capture high-quality still photography and video of machinery; manage the organization of raw files and final edits for the company YouTube channel.
Social Media Strategy: Create and manage targeted "Hype" campaigns on LinkedIn ; cross-link website content with social media platforms to drive engagement.
Trade Show Management: Oversee all aspects of industry exhibitions, including booth logistics, lead tracking, travel arrangements, and social media promotion.
CRM & Lead Tracking: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to improve lead organization and sales follow-up.
Technical Documentation: Generate job-specific Service Manuals and preliminary spare parts lists to support Project Managers.
Customer Success: Conduct post-shipment follow-ups to ensure successful installation and production startups.
Departmental Support: Act as a backup to the Service Coordinator (parts orders, estimates, and billing) and assist with cross-departmental clerical tasks.
Requirements Basic Requirements
Education: High school diploma required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and WordPress .
Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational and communication skills; ability to prioritize a changing workload in a fast-paced environment.
Versatility: Comfortable working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
Curiosity: A genuine willingness to learn the technical aspects of the conveyor and material handling industry.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
Background: Previous experience in a Marketing or Web Development role.
Industry: Experience in manufacturing, conveyors, or industrial automation.
Design Tools: Basic AutoCAD skills are a significant plus for understanding technical drawings.
