We are seeking a motivated and personable Part-Time Business Development Associate to support our growing travel company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on outreach, enjoys building relationships, and has hands‑on experience in both cold calling and the travel industry.
This is an hourly, part‑time position with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outbound cold calls and cold email outreach to targeted lead lists, including:
A curated list of 3,000 newly engaged brides for honeymoons and destination weddings
Local 55+ communities in New Jersey for group travel opportunities
Corporate travel prospects, sports leagues, and school groups
Qualify leads, identify travel needs, and schedule follow-up calls or consultations
Maintain accurate notes and lead tracking in CRM systems
Represent the brand with professionalism, warmth, and confidence
Collaborate with the owner/lead planner to refine outreach strategies and messaging
Provide weekly updates on lead progress and conversion activity
Work toward weekly and monthly sales goals tied to call volume, qualified leads, and booked consultations
Required Experience & Skills
Cold calling experience is a must - Please do not apply without any experiance
Travel industry experience preferred (agency, hospitality, group travel, or destination weddings preferred)
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging phone presence
Ability to handle objections and build rapport quickly
Organized, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently
Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
Part‑time, hourly role
Flexible schedule (ideal for someone seeking supplemental income)
Remote‑friendly, though familiarity with New Jersey communities is helpful
