Job Description Summary The Marketing Outreach Assistant supports the University of Kentucky Campus Housing marketing and outreach efforts by assisting with on‑campus tours, coordinating the staff calendar, creating promotional materials, and supporting resident events. The role is the first point of contact for visitors, requiring a professional demeanor and the ability to generate leasing interest. Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service to visitors, internal and external customers. Respond to emails promptly and comprehensively. Greet all tour guests with a friendly and professional demeanor. Provide accurate and comprehensive housing and marketing information to students and parents. Assist team and other teams with various tasks and projects as needed. Perform data entry, file management, and clerical support for projects. Generate excitement and interest about on‑campus housing during internal and external outreach efforts. Engage prospective students and parents while discussing housing needs. Create social media posts informing and connecting with prospective, current, and future students and parents about important dates and events. Represent and promote Campus Housing at Big Blue Nation Orientations, high‑traffic on‑campus locations, and other large campus events. Maintain curb appeal and cleanliness of properties, supporting resident retention for occupancy purposes. Perform tasks required to prepare units and rooms for occupancy. Assist with planning and coordinating events, projects, etc. Complete all necessary training required for the position. Accept overtime if required. Perform other duties as assigned or necessary. Compensation Base salary per hourly rate (exact figure not disclosed). Eligible for quarterly or annual bonus program for corporate positions, or weekly/monthly/quarterly bonus programs for onsite property positions.
