Job Summary Supports regional efforts by assisting the Regional Director, Manager, Regional Fixed Operations, District Sales Managers, District Service & Parts Managers, and dealers in conquest and sales promotion activities by utilizing appropriate Isuzu marketing materials and resources. Works with the Regional Director to identify the highest potential areas for activities or those areas that have special needs based on limited dealer retail capacity (or poor dealer sales performance) for both trucks and parts sales. Supports District Managers’ efforts by conducting and supporting sales blitzes in market areas, assisting in local trade shows, and any other dealer‑level sales development activities. Responsible for market area improvement plans, implementation, and follow‑up of those plans. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Works with the Regional Director to identify and analyze markets with the highest unachieved sales potential. Develops initiative and marketing promotions and contact lists (using IDEAS) that will be used as “blueprint” plan to contact and follow‑up with prospects and Isuzu customers in the identified market area. Once the plan is completed, begins contacting in‑person prospects and creates follow‑up plan for those prospects that demonstrate interest in product or future services. Reports results, findings, and follow‑up plans to the Regional Director weekly or as required. Supports District Managers by coordinating or assisting in Isuzu promotional activities. This includes but is not limited to assisting in coordination and participation in dealership sales blitzes (sales, service, and parts), coordinating and participating in trade show activities, participating in local vocational trade organizations, and any other associated activities that promote the Isuzu truck brand. Travels with District Managers to develop a better understanding of dealer operations and assists District Managers with special activities at the dealer level that may require additional resources. Performs miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned. Organizational Relationships Reports to: Director, Regional Operations Qualifications Education, Experience & Training Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Communications preferred, or equivalent directly related work experience Experience in the capacity of sales, marketing, promotions, or sales cold calling preferred Knowledge General knowledge and/or interest in automotive and or truck industry practices Knowledge of sales processes, sales cold‑calling, marketing or promotional activities Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems utilization knowledge preferred Skills & Abilities Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills Ability to travel and negotiate driving in a city environment Must be able to maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Report development and analytical skills Physical Standards The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. Must be able to drive market areas on a regular basis and drive Isuzu trucks. Some light lifting (25‑40 lbs.) may be required on an occasional basis during trade show set‑up. Dealer service and parts environment requires frequent standing. Also requires stooping, kneeling, and bending around vehicles in demonstration situations. Travel The position requires heavy travel, approximately 75%—80% of the time within the region, to achieve Isuzu truck sales and parts volume objectives. Pay Scale The pay scale for this position is between $65,218 and $81,523. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
